As our Finance Manager, you will own and manage our financial operations, from daily tasks to strategic financial insights, playing a crucial role in shaping a sustainable future.
Activities
Own and manage shipzero's financial operations, from day-to-day tasks to strategic financial insights
Prepare investor reports and detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making, and board discussions
Collaborate closely with the CEOs, tax advisors and external partners to ensure compliance and smooth financial processes
Enable tax accountants to create audit-ready monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring transparency and accuracy for all stakeholders
Continuously improve bookkeeping, accounts payable, receivable, and customer invoicing, with a strong focus on automation
Actively contribute to company-wide KPI driven processes, creating analysis and coordinate action items
Drive improvements in financial structures and processes to support shipzero's growth journey
Requirements
Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in finance with a focus on strategic reporting, automation, and data-driven decision making (B2B SaaS experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping principles, and basic tax regulations
High sense of ownership with a structured, reliable, and hands-on approach
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights and recommendations
Proficient in spreadsheets and financial tools; experience with accounting software is a plus
Fluent in both German and English
